Yesterday the Industry Day 2018 took place in the Neckar Forum in Esslingen. The Industrietag is a company contact fair for students initiated by the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences.

Today at Gehring Girls' Day 2018 took place. After some safety instruction for the 13 participants, we went to the canteen for breakfast together. Then the young ladies were led through the factory. From our Gehring measuring room to technology development - the girls got comprehensive insights into the company and our honing machines.

The motto of the Education Foundation of the Kreissparkasse for the education competition 2017 was "Fresh Wind with STEM". Through interactive projects such as the KieWis project, which has been running at Gehring and Lindeschule for more than 10 years, the children are offered fresh wind. This way STEM subjects become more fun and attractive. We are very proud that this project has been awarded a prize and that the years of work have been appreciated.

On March, 11th and 12th the Career Convention took place at the Neckarforum Esslingen. With a joyful mood we’re looking back on last weekend and the successful conversations. The Gehring-Team was able to facilitate numerous visitors their decision about their future choice of profession.

Number 1 in the region - Gehring apprentices win the cup at the IG Metall youth football tournament in Esslingen

At 25th of November, 12 teams took part at the IG Metall cup in the Neckarsporthalle in Esslingen. Already in the group stage, our Gehring team delivered outstanding results in the knockout stage.

It’s time to get ready for our apprentices! Together with our apprenticeship instructors, the team will start to Hannover on Thursday morning. Here, the world’s leading exhibition for machine tools and metal processing will take place from the 18th until the 23rd of September.

Since the founding of the company Gehring, the company has set up a well-founded vocational training program to ensure its success. This week, our new trainees started their apprentices in a motivated way!

Je m'appelle Adrien Marmillon and I am a French student in engineering science in Lyon. Since I have to choose my specialization in this area next year and since I do not know so much about the practice, I wanted to look around for the first time what an engineer does at all.

We accompany Kim on a typical day of her training as an industrial mechanic at Gehring Technologies.

On March 11, 2017, Gehring was represented with its own booth on the Career 2017, the largest trade fair in Esslingen. Our training managers Mr. Siegert and Mr. Illi, together with some of our Gehring apprentices and students, informed about the training and study opportunities at Gehring.
