Bor’s internship at Gehring

Hi, I’m Maria, in 8th grade and I get to do my BORS internship here at #Gehring this week. In the last few days, I have gained many exciting insights into different departments and areas.
I spent the first two days in the personnel office. Here I gained my first insights into applicant management and was able to assist with personnel administration. My duties also included preparing for interviews and adjusting job references and much more. I really enjoyed this area of activity.
On my third day, I was allowed to get a taste of sales. First thing in the morning, I was given a tour of the various departments. From the warehouse and shipping department to the technical center and the machine shops, the tour took us through the company. In sales, I learned how to create and change quotations with SAP and how to process complaints.
Today, on my last day of internship, I’m in marketing. So far, I’ve been able to do a lot of different tasks, which I really like. From trade show planning and preparation to managing the social media channels, there are always exciting tasks here.
I am glad that I was able to use the BORS internship at Gehring for my professional orientation and I am excited to gain more valuable experience.
