22 companies from Saxony-Anhalt, including Gehring Production GmbH + Co KG in Naumburg, have been recognized as “Top Training Companies” by the Halle-Dessau Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Gehring was honored with the coveted title of “Top Training Company 2024” at an award ceremony. This award underlines Gehring’s excellent quality and exceptional commitment to the vocational training of young people.

Gehring has distinguished itself with a particularly strong commitment to career guidance and training. With measures such as student internships, taster days, cooperation with schools, participation in career orientation fairs and company-specific action days, Gehring has made it clear how seriously the company takes its responsibility for the next generation.

A key feature of the training concept at Gehring is the individual support of trainees and the commitment to the integration of disadvantaged young people, including those with a migration background, as well as the continuous further training of the company’s own trainers. Gehring offers a wide range of support measures before and during training, such as introductory training and assisted training, in order to offer all young people an opportunity. It also trains trainees from other companies in the basics of metalworking and provides support with exam preparation.

Gehring is not only committed to training a broad and diverse group of young people, but also ensures an optimal start and individual support throughout the entire training period. Through innovative projects, such as the trainee project “Vetus ex novo”, Gehring enables its trainees to gain valuable practical experience and put their own ideas into practice.

The “Top Training Company” award is recognition of Gehring’s comprehensive efforts to continuously improve the quality of training and offer its trainees excellent career prospects. With a strong focus on personal and professional development, Gehring offers its graduates excellent chances of being taken on and further training opportunities.

The words of the trainees reflect their satisfaction and pride in their training at Gehring. The positive experience, the individual support from dedicated trainers and the wide range of development opportunities make Gehring a truly top training company. And what do training and product managers say? “I’ve been training manager at Gehring since 2018. It’s a role that gives me great pleasure. The award is a milestone that has moved me deeply. However, such a success is never mine alone,” says Training Manager Andreas Mank. “Special thanks are due to Rebecca Magister, Head of HR at Gehring, who has made a significant contribution to this success. Her tireless work in the background makes many of our programs possible and deserves great recognition. It is this teamwork that makes real success in training possible.”

Henry Friedel, Production Manager at Gehring, commented on the significance of the award for Gehring: “This award confirms that we are on the right track and shows that our approach to training is the right one. It fills us with great pride that our efforts, among large companies, are recognized by the IHK. This recognition motivates us to continue on this path. This award is not only proof of the quality of our work, but also an incentive not to let up in our efforts and to continue to strive for innovation and excellence in everything we do.”
