The right surface for your gear wheel.

The gear wheel tool is suitable for machining bores of Ø 20-60 mm. It features high-precision guidance of the infeed cone and is adapted to our gear wheel device. The use of compact strips results in longer tool lives during rough honing. The gear wheel tool is typically used for gear wheels.

Your benefit:

In addition to the technical and application-related advantages, the modular design of the die train enables the shortest delivery times both for new dies and for die reconditioning. At the same time, the high degree of standardization results in reduced manufacturing costs and simple tool management – a further customer benefit in terms of cost-effectiveness in use.

Technical highlights

The gear wheel tool is designed for rough honing and stock removal up to 0.3mm. In combination with our gear wheel device, it has a stable counter-guide and optionally enables in-process measurements through integrated air measuring nozzles. A high coolant supply is possible by means of internal cooling. Furthermore, the tool has an automatic bar return and a backlash-free connection to the hydraulic expansion chuck.
