Nagel and Gehring combine their know-how in honing technology

The addition of Gehring Unternehmungen to the Nagel Group expands the range of products and services offered by the two technology companies to include innovative technologies and promising business fields. In response to market developments in the largest segment of automotive powertrain technology, the two companies are offering new solutions in the field of emission reduction and alternative powertrains. In addition to further developments in honing technology, the technology partnership with the automotive industry was strengthened through new laser processes, digitization solutions and production systems for e-mobility. Under the umbrella of the family-run Nagel Group, their long-term sustainable development is to be continued together, as a permanently strong supplier for the automotive industry and other sectors.

The process was accompanied by Clairfield International, an international M&A consultancy specializing in medium-sized corporate transactions. The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.
