Review of the career convention 2017

On March 11, 2017, Gehring was represented with its own booth on the Career 2017, the largest trade fair in Esslingen. Our training managers Mr. Siegert and Mr. Illi, together with some of our Gehring apprentices and students, informed about the training and study opportunities at Gehring. The diverse audience took the opportunity to inform themselves at our booth. Many people were interested in the career opportunities of Gehring.

In addition to videos showing the honing process, the visitors had the opportunity to explore our entire product portfolio with a VR spectacle over a virtual fair stand. Also very well received were the presented workpieces, which made the result of our work tangible and thus a good impression could convey what Gehring distinguished.

Fortunately, more and more girls were interested in technical professions. This was reflected in a very balanced girl / boy ratio of the stand visitors. We look back on a successful career show and hope to welcome the first new apprentices and students soon.
