EMO Hannover 2017 – A look back at a very successful trade show

From the 18th to the 23rd September, the world’s leading trade fair showed the entire range of modern metalworking technology and hosted over 2,200 exhibitors. Up to 150,000 trade visitors from more than 100 countries visited the exhibition halls and were impressed by the latest machines and technical solutions.

Gehring was naturally amongst the numerous exhibitors at the show. The numerous good discussions and the positive feedback from the customers shows that Gehring has offered something very special at this show.

Gehring made an unforgettable impression on the visitors not only through having the largest stand in their history of exhibiting at the show, but also through their speciality presentations regarding Digitalization, Total Customer Care and the Nahohoning process chain, which were especiallly well received.

Our product portfolio inclusive of systems was displayed digitally through the medium of two touch screens, which made the entire performance portfolio virtually tangible. The Gehring Connection Box, the VR glasses and the software applications were received very positively. The service application with the VR glasses and the tablet were described positively not only by customers and trade fair visitors, but also by other exhibitors as a simple, innovative and forward-looking solution.
