Apprentices reach third place!

On 03.11.2018, nine teams from different companies went to Esslingen am Neckar and participated in the IG Metall-Jugend football tournament 2018. Our apprentices from Gehring were also there to defend their title.
In the Neckarsporthalle, the teams fought for the best positions and ensured a decent mood. The teams were divided into two groups, from which then the best two came in the next round and finally played for the first, second and third place. The teams as well as the organizers ensured a pleasant atmosphere. The Heller team stood out and won the fairness trophy.
Quickly the four best teams from the groups were determined. Bosch Thermotechnik, BW Papersystems, Festo and, last but not least, Gehring Technologies. All teams did their best. Finally, the placings were fixed and thus the new winners. Our apprentices snatched third place with a 2:1 victory against Festo. In the final, Bosch Thermotechnik defeated BW Papersystems 4:2. We congratulate the apprentices of the Bosch company on the victory of the IG Metall Youth Tournament 2018. Next year our trainees will again be fully motivated to attack and try to get the title back to Gehring.
It was a very thrilling and exciting tournament. We would like to thank the teams and of course the organizers, who made everything possible and gave the trainees the opportunity to relax, have fun and at the same time give their best. Because when there is teamwork in sports then it will definitely be at work. Also, we would like to congratulate our boys for an outstanding third place.
