MY STORY
HOW TO GET TO GEHRING?
My father already was master in toolmaking at Gehring. He took me to the company. After I had completed two practical experiences with Mr. Siegert, I started my training as an industrial mechanic at Gehring in 2011.
WHAT IS MY FUNCTION AT GEHRING?
After I successfully completed this training this January I was firmly taken over and now I am active in the process development. My duties include honing and measuring surfaces. I work with the latest honing technology and am directly involved in customer trials. The task is very varied and the team is simply great.
WHAT IS PARTICULAR TO GEHRING?
From my perspective there is a lot of potential in Gehring. In addition, the training is professionally very good and the training manager Mr. Siegert always stands by with advice and deed. After the apprenticeship, you will be taken over directly, and you already know very well in the company. You know the colleagues already personally and can bring themselves.
WHY WOULD I WORK WITH GEHRING?
The working environment is very pleasant, both during training and in the department. In addition, during the training you get numerous insights into your own company group. In addition to the company's own plant in Naumburg, large machine builders, suppliers and other companies are visited during the training period. Overall, the time passes very quickly, as it is very varied and fun.
