HOW TO GET TO GEHRING?

After achieving my secondary school certificate, I decided to do a voluntary social year. Another option was doing an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk/manager. Due to the online presence of Gehring I took notice of the company. I applied for an apprenticeship place and I was recruited straight away. I spent my first year of apprenticeship at the GARP training center and currently I’m employed at the training workshop.

WHY AN APPRENTICESHIP AS INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC AT GEHRING?

For me, Gehring is a family company where every individual can effect something. You know each other, it’s a pleasure to work here and every day I’m looking forward to going to work.

WHAT are my Tasks AT GEHRING?

During my apprenticeship, I’m mainly located in the training workshop in our headquarters. There I’m editing small pieces and I am daily at milling, turning or grinding different parts. Frequently I’m also editing samples for the measuring room.

WHAT IS PARTICULAR TO GEHRING?

At Gehring, a good working relationship prevails among the employees, all the colleagues are very kind and we’re doing many collective activities. We had the possibility to visit the EMO 2017, a fair in Hannover, together with our training managers. Our training managers stand up for realizing our own interests

WHY WOULD I WORK WITH GEHRING?

At Gehring there prevails a cheerful working atmosphere and I appreciate working there. My wish for the future is being taken over. In that case I could also gain professional development.
