Gehring celebrates 90th anniversary

With this successful week of anniversary events, Gehring celebrated 90 years of innovation in the field of honing technology. Today, Gehring looks back to aims that were reached full of pride – full of expectation and determination to the ones in the future. Innovative technologies, a new global product portfolio and digital solutions – innovations for the implementation of which Gehring is a reliable partner.

Within the presentations on both the Customer and Agent Day, Gehring presented the new global product portfolio, innovative technologies for functionally optimized surfaces, digital solutions, the service portfolio (Total Customer Care) and the new Gehring Academy. Demonstrations of new technologies and machines provided a platform for interesting debates and expert exchange between everybody involved. Two days, with which Gehring was able to share a part of the company’s history, discuss current trends and present future projects and developments.

A special highlight within the anniversary celebrations was the Summer Day on Saturday that was attended by many employees, their families, friends, but also former Gehring employees. After an official welcome by Dr. Schöning, the former employee Mr. Eisinger shared his memories of the enterprise’s first decades. While some enjoyed catching up with each other for a coffee and a crêpes, there were also many attractions and programs offered to the smallest of our guests, the most popular of which was a segway tour with the whole family.
